You can start the curl from where you want, if you want to curl the whole flock then wrap it from the root. When you have finished curling all the flocks, tousle them with your fingers to make the curls loose and wavy. Finish the look by using hair spray so that the waves can be in place.
Using salt spray will need you to make your hair wet. After having shampoo and conditioner on your hair, pat it dry by using a soft towel. Real beachy waves are created by the sprinkle of sea water which contains salt. You can buy salt sprays from drugstores or you can also make one at home.
Hot water, Epsom salts, sea salt and almond oil is all what you need to make salt spray.  Mix all these ingredients and shake the spray bottle. Scrunch you hair into waves by using your fingers and curl the flocks around your fingers if you want to make them curlier. After the hair is dry, you will get perfect beachy waves hair as you have just been to a beach!
The last option is to make braids in your hair. Though it will take a little time but it’s totally worth it! At first you have to use thickening shampoo which will help to define curls and waves. You can also do this method by damping you hair if you have shampooed earlier.
Gently squeeze you hair by using a soft towel and pat it dry. Instead of using a hairdryer, dry your hair naturally as it will be needed as wet for the next step. On the next step, part your hair down through the middle. Continue the braid till the tips on both sides and secure them tight by using two hair ties.
You can also ask someone if you are facing troubles in making the braid. When your hair dries completely in the braids, kinks and waves will be created to make a perfect beachy look. It will be better if you can make the braid before you go to sleep and keep it overnight.
Try not to open the braids when they are still wet. This will make the waves fall out and they will not in their place anymore. Finally when the hair is dry, you have to unweave the braids to let your hair free. Apply salt spray or mousse to add volumes to the waves.
